Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 27 August 2026. Prepared by self-assessment.
Commitment to accessibility
Emilio Bonura is committed to making emiliobonura.it accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, in line with EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022 and the European standard EN 301 549, which incorporates the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: most requirements are met, but some third-party content may not be fully accessible.
Measures taken
- Semantic structure with landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) and a consistent heading hierarchy. - “Skip to main content” link at the start of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation with always-visible focus indicators and focus trapping in modal panels.
- Alternative text for informative images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Accessible names (
aria-label) for icon-only buttons and minimum 44×44 px touch targets on mobile. - Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Correct language attribute for the Italian and English versions of the site.
- Support for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference (
prefers-reduced-motion). - Forms with explicit labels, textual error messages and
aria-livestatus announcements. - Videos with captions and an explicit disclosure of AI-generated content.
Non-accessible content
- Third-party widgets and legal notices (cookie banner, policies, anti-spam verification) may have accessibility limitations we cannot modify directly.
- Some legacy promotional graphics may contain text embedded in the image; an equivalent text version is available on request.
- External websites reached through outbound links are outside the scope of this statement.
