Accessibility Statement

Scope

This statement applies to emiliobonura.it (Italian and English versions).

European accessibility rules (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022) include an exemption for services provided by micro-enterprises. Emilio Bonura operates as a micro-enterprise and may therefore fall outside the direct obligations of the rules. This statement is nevertheless published and maintained voluntarily, as a concrete commitment to people who use the site with assistive technologies: it should not be read as a declaration of legal conformance.

Accessibility status

The site is developed following the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. The checks described below are not a certification: they are the tests actually performed and their dates.

Checks performed

  • September 2026 — automated audits (axe-core) on 9 key pages, desktop and mobile: all reported issues (labels, heading hierarchy, colour contrast) were fixed and re-checked to zero.
  • Manual code review: semantic structure with landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), a single main heading per page, and a working “Skip to main content” link on every page.
  • Mobile verification (real preview at 390 px): touch targets, cookie banner, menu and floating buttons are reachable and named.
  • “Reduce motion” preference respected in the stylesheet (prefers-reduced-motion).

Screen-reader testing has been partial and unsystematic: no full compatibility with specific screen readers is claimed.

Known limitations

  • Legal documents and the anti-spam check are served by third-party providers (hosted policy documents, Cloudflare Turnstile widget): any accessibility limits there are not under our direct control.
  • Promotional videos may not always have complete captions; the content can be requested in text form.
  • Third-party pages reached through external links are not covered by this statement.
