AI applied to marketing

How to choose the right AI for your business (without falling for the hype)

Three glowing paths converging into one — choosing the right AI tool for your business

Every week I get at least 5 requests with the exact same question: "Emilio, which AI is the best?".

The honest answer — the one no guru will give you — is: there is no such thing.

The problem isn't the tool

The problem is that we look for a shortcut. We want the miracle tool that will solve everything for us. Spoiler: it doesn't exist.

What does exist is a set of different tools that do different things, with different costs, different integrations and different learning curves.

The 4 questions to ask before choosing an AI

  • Which process do I want to improve? (not which tool do I want to use)
  • How much time do I lose on that process today?
  • Who's going to use the tool — me alone or a team?
  • How much am I willing to invest in months of testing before ROI?
The right AI isn't the most famous one. It's the one your team will actually use on Tuesday at 3:30 PM.

What I do with my clients

We map current processes, identify real friction points, test 2-3 tools on concrete cases for 2 weeks, then decide. No endless PoCs. No demo-driven enthusiasm.

If you want to do this work together, let's book a call.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what people ask most about this topic.

Will AI replace my job or my team?

No. AI speeds up repetitive work (drafts, analysis, summaries, first versions). Strategy, decisions and client relationships stay human — AI amplifies people who already know the outcome they want.

Where should a small business start with AI?

With the processes that eat the most time and are already documented somewhere: customer replies, quotes, recurring content, reporting. One process at a time, with a measurable result.

Does AI-generated content hurt Google rankings?

Not if it is useful, verified and reviewed by a human. Google evaluates quality and real experience, not the tool used to write: empty content is the problem, not AI.

How long does it take to see the first results?

Early tests (ads, content, simple automations) usually show signals in 2-4 weeks. Structural impact on leads and sales typically takes 2-3 months of consistent work with weekly measurement.

Do I need a big budget to start?

No. Start with a small, measurable scope: one goal, one channel, one metric. Budget grows only when the numbers show the process works.

How do you measure the return of this work?

With a few clear indicators: leads generated, cost per lead, reply rate and conversion into customers. All tracked in analytics, no vanity metrics.
